A few sample pics of my work.   I've tended to neglect this area as far as taking pics,  so this is a little sparse.
All finishes are hand-stripped in our shop.   Hand and power sanded,  custom stained,  stain matching;
finished general in a sturdy but beautiful catlazyed lacquer, followed by hand rubbing to finish sheen.
I've been doing this over and over and over again for 32 years.    Weird, eh?
